The sequel is still in the top 100 played on steam with a 24 hour peak of 13k. You only need 3 others to get a game going depending on the mode.

no you don't need L4D1 :) source: bought it last time and refunded 2 hours later after playing L4D2 for hundreds hours
What about the single player/co-op campaign for L4D1?
The maps have been ported to L4D2.

Arhh just remembered that I used to play this on my old Windows laptop and now we've both switched to Macbook Airs 😣 does steam work on Mac OS? Lol
yes. it works on Mac steam with no issues
should be fine with the integrated gfx card on the mac air.. might have to lower the gfx quality settings though. go go go! :D
