Do You Trust Online Competitions eg "Share for a Chance to Win $XXX or Product X"

Just curiois, I want to see if anyone besides me has a distrust towards these

For examlpe, everytime I get an ad saying

"Share for a chance to win $X or share for a chance to win a laptop" I always assume its fake and don't really trust them

Wht about you guys?

    Reputable company - I trust it, but I'll look to see how many likes/shares its had to know if I should even bother

    Unknown company - just simply don't bother

    I trust the ones from reputable brands - though I refuse to enter them.

    Those of us who value the privacy of our profiles have little to no chance of winning them, as the promoter would not see our shared post due to privacy settings, they would not see how many friends we have etc.

    They have to be Ozbargain certified for me to trust them :)
