    Don't enter your details.

They won't email you a quote. They'll call you and harass you for ages…

Too late, I put my details in as JV.

I regret ever using iSelect for a quote, they still call me every few weeks even after telling them to stop calling years ago. Side point their quotes were more expensive by a fair margin than if I went to the suppliers directly.

You'll probably end up paying $301 more for your insurance

Not sure how. I compared the premiums on iselect to the premiums on the same provider's website and they were exactly the same. Note that I only checked health.com.au and frankinsurance.

the prems will be the same - they are regulated.
the range is relatively small so there is a risk that you will end up with something unsuitable if you take their "advice".
if you know what you want then I would go for it.

      • Got that. Thanks.

used them in Feb last year, was actually pretty smooth with minimal harassment as I was ready to transact.
gift card never came until September when i chased it (clearly i am a patient man) - then it came after about a week.

  • So that covers the first week

a benefit of this deal is that it pays for hospital only so if you dont want to (profanity) around with extras you dont have to.
    personally i dont.
