The problem with eBay/AliExpress is that quality varies a lot, most of it on the poor quality side.
Even trying to buy higher quality is often difficult because a lot of asian sellers will sell faked high quality cables.
Don't know why my last comment was deleted. Was asking if there's anything actually cheap on this site. May have been the links to items I posted. The examples showed a Bluetooth remote for Android is $29.90 delivered on cable Chick and only $3.82 delivered from eBay.
I looked recently for an item and wasn't impressed on price. Looked to be the same ebay quality.
All I want now is some decent gauge speaker wire. None of this overpriced stuff when the gauge and a bit of shielding is all you need. Not sure where to go though.
If all you need is the minimum quality, look on ebay/staticice/asian shops for the cheapest possible.
Well.. yeah, the minimum that meets specification. I mean, so long as it is actually 14AWG or better and has an insulation sheath (it's being installed in a wall cavity)
Most pre-built cables from china skimp so badly on the AWG that they stop working after 5 bends of the cable. I'm hoping that when they advertise something with a specific AWG that you actually get what you're supposed to
So then buy from a reputable place.
I'm not sure why there is confusion here.
You can't trust eBay/China, if you buy from them you are effectively gambling.
I only use these sites if I’m in a hurry, everything can be found cheaper on ebay or AliExpress.
Once I was going to buy something from Selby, found a similar looking item cheaper on ebay and sure enough it shipped from Selby.
