The f*** is Afterpay?
You pay the amount over 4 payments, spread over 8 weeks.
Let's say you buy a pair of shoes for $100. instead of paying $100 upfront, you use afterpay and only pay $25.00 every 2 weeks, with the 1st payment only done 2 weeks after you purchase the item.
It is at no extra cost to the consumer, just to the retailer.
It is a genius idea, and I wish I thought of it. dammit.
In my experience of AfterPay the first 25% payment is up front, not 2 weeks after purchase.
It's a very handy service, just make sure you have adequate funds in your account for future debits.
They may have changed since you bought. If you check your email they send you of your payment schedule, your 1st payment is 2 weeks away.
