Would eBay Promo Discount still apply via other payment methods like bank transfer?

Hi

Can anyone confirm if I was to pay via bank transfer on an item from a seller that accepts that payment method, would the ebay discount promo code still apply to it? or is it only applicable for paypal only since it auto calculates the discount amount upon checkout?

Read the ebay promo T&C's and couldn't find any info.

    the t&cs say paypal only, maybe call 1300 655 506 to get more assistance with the t&cs

    Who uses bank transfer when you can use Paypal in the first place?

    Just make a PayPal account. That way you get both PayPal and eBay buyer's protection.
    I don't think even eBay's buyer's protection applies for bank transfer purchases.
