Looking to buy 1 or 2 things from chinese sites, should I wait till after Chinese new year?

Just be mindful of the delays there will be in receiving your purchases.

Companies usually close for a period two weeks and then there's a whole backlog of orders to fulfill, followed by the backlog in shipping after that.
