Best case under $110 preferably want to buy from PLE

Hey ladies and gents I'm ready to upgrade my crappy case that I got from this deal. I have a white graphics card and a black Mobo and a black PSU. I really want a side panel so I can look inside it. Any recommendations are appreciated. If needed I could buy it online or travel to msy or storm computer's.

  • This cooler master case seems good value, rgb fans and tempered glass for only $99

  • Defs go the InWin 301 or 303. I've got the 101C which is a fantastic case especially with the USB-C top port

    So classy: https://www.ple.com.au/Products/624797/InWin-303-White-Mid-T…

For InWin I'd actually suggest getting the 303 if you have a mATX mobo, as any bottom mounted fans potentially interfere with mobo connections for USB/audio/fans etc. I've only just managed to cram everything in my 101C, but it's a bit of strain on the plugs that I'm not happy with

  • NZXT S340 is the way to go, great airflow x side panel.

    • I can't decide if I want the in win 303 or the source S340

      • Probably the S340

InWins unconventional fan placement might have some weird airflow issues, imo lol

Yep probs gonna grab the s340

        • @Lockster: +1 on the S340. Excellent case

      • At this point I think you're just deciding which is more aesthetically pleasing.

To me, that's certainly the win 303. The way they've designed some of the stuff seems a bit poorly thought out imo. Airflow is pretty bad too.

s340 is probably more practical and easier to build. Better airflow too.

Though personally, I'd push my budget for an NZXT H440. Looks nice, easy to build in, better than most in terms of airflow I'd say. Plus, it's designed to help insulate sound too. Awfully easy to hide all your cables too

        • Little bit too expensive for me haha. Tbh I want one that looks nice and the nzxt definitely does and is easy to build in. Can't wait

        • @Lockster: dunnoe what to think to be honest. I've never heard of it and the specs are awfully vague. Not even a mention of how many hdd or even showing the side panels.

I'm guessing there is just a clear side panel on the side, the panels seem to be made out of acrylic. Problem with acrylic is it scratches quite easily, and with such a large acrylic panel it's only a matter of time before it scratches. Acrylic isn't as brittle compared to glass though.

Other than that, it seems like a pretty decent case. Layout seems to be fairly modern

      • That one's a budget case and it's almost non-existent online.

        MATX only aswell.

I'd probably go the S340. Consider this, if you pay $100 now for the S340 you probably won't need to buy another case for your next 3-4 builds.

But with the Rotanium case, you'll probably want another one in a couple years down the line much like the current case you have now.

        • Cheers I'll probably just grab the s340. It looks nice and I can use it for a long time

        • Hey mate I ended up getting this one I really liked the look of it and the price. Can't wait to see it all up :)

  • What's your PC specs?

    • +1

      i3-7100
      8gbs of ddr4
      1060 6gb
      500w silver PSU
      Crappy case.
Yes I know I should upgrade my cpu first but I'll do that later. I'll probably upgrade to ryzen soon but for now it's doing everything I want except looking good
