  • <50% off

This means less than 50% off but by reading the description, it seems like they are more (>) than 50% off

Whoops haha dropped maths at year 5. Go easy

  • Possible price error?

  • I already have a column heater, do I need another? You know, just in case?

    • These things usually last forever imo. So unless you need it for another room don't bother.

Thanks OP, I'll get one of these so just in case it ever gets cold here I'll be ready :)

  • I have hydronic heating, which is lovely, but takes a while to crank up. I have a couple of ceramic heaters for times I need heat for a short time, but quickly, e.g. getting dressed, etc. they work really well for that. This price seems really good.

  • Click and collect is not allowed. Shipping is $9.90.

  • Thanks OP just what we need for this weeks heatwave in Qld…

    • The ceramic heater does come with a fan setting :)

The problem with Qld is the humidity. in a pinch I can deal with 40C in Melbourne but above 30 in QLD is just awful, I feel like I'm marinating.

    • You could wait till it is cold, but I suspect you will pay more.

      • Lot of people up here have reverse cycle ac so solves both humidity and cold :)

  • Great for winter. It says the item is not available online. Sold out?

All these heaters will have similar running costs to produce a kilowatt of heat.
Roughly, radiant or fan heater cost about the same as bottled gas.
Piped gas cost about half that (the difference is diminishing as gas prices rise).
Cheapest of all is a heat pump or reverse cycle aircon that can typically produce 4 or 5 kW of heat per kW of power.

    • A dehumidifier will also give you a good power:heat exchange ratio. But not this much power.

  • Might start stocking up. Thanks op
