    I'm fairly certain this isn't correct.

    For any traffic to be unmetered, your ISP needs to know where that traffic is coming from.

    The purpose of a VPN is to mask this.

    That said I don't use Optus or Netflix, so there could be specifics I'm not aware of.

      Read the question "Will netflix be metered if I use a VPN to stream netflix on optus 4G?" the user said metered not unmetered. Metered = counted as data used, unmetered = not counted as data used.

        Yeah I just noticed the OP said unmetered in the subject, then metered in the description.

        So yeah to be totally clear, Netflix will not be unmetered if you use a VPN.

      and the correct answer is Yes, the data will be metered if using a VPN.
