I am currently looking for a home security system and came across one on Kogan. Just wondering if they are any good for the price $359.

      its sounds cheap and decent and sub $200 for a 720p IP system is good when every spastic from jaycar to aldis is running on bloody BNC

      need to budget for injectors or a poe switch though

        after looking at some reviews, i pass on this one

        its only $129 but its cheap for a reason, its not POE, its sPOE which is their own proprietry shit

        also typical chinese poor programming so expect some bullcrap like it only works in IE active x

        buying real POE HD/FHD setups is so hard

        even the ones getting into the $300 are still screwed in some ways

        maybe those Hikvision ones are better

        man, i generally know what i'm doing in that i can see what the hell is wrong if i dig deep enough but buying blind would be a nightmware
