  • class 2 good price

  • good price, bought.

    • I've bought a few cards from them too. Yes, they don't come in any packaging but I don't believe they're fake because

      1) Neither the card nor the adapter looks dodgy.
      2) They're as fast/slow as any other SD card I've bought.
      3) They hold the actual capacity.

I've bought fake SD cards/flash drives in the past that have looked dodgy, been slow and not been able to hold the amount of data they're meant to hold.

      • you could always get a price match from OW at 5% cheaper and they cant add on shipping

  • Same for me.
No idea if they are real, no retail packaging…and s….l….o….w
BTW my "Shopping Square" cards came from Hong Kong.

    • The one and only time I've ordered from SS, I requested they include the packaging for my Kingston SD card and they did. So perhaps the rep should announce if packaging can be included in all orders upon request, since my order had several items which therefore made little difference to the overall size of the package.

      • Can we assume that by ignoring the comments about packaging that buyers can expect the same as experienced above?

        • Hi AntMan

There are major types of Sandisk SD cards provided by ShoppingSquare.com.au

Extreme Card (Up to class 12) - Retail Pack
Ultra Card (class 4) - Retail Pack
Standard Card (Class 2) - Mix of Bulk pack (business card) or Retail Pack, depended our supplier stock.

customer can visit Sandisk official website for the details of Bulk pack business card.
          http://www.sandisk.com/business-solutions/flash-memory-cards

The performance, Price and warranty term for both bulk pack and retail pack are same, and both are manufactured by Sandisk.

          will that be more clear?

Why do you constantly avoid the topic of the packaging of memory cards? What the hell is the problem? Are you sourcing stolen goods and removing the packaging to avoid detection?

        • i think what they're trying to say is they probably are buying in bulk and as such, makes sense to not have packaging since itll just be a bulk of plastic and a waste of space and shipping costs. but thats just a guess.

guys, google a program called h2testw to test whether the card you got is authentic. It is the best program out there that tests for errors and tells you whether your card is real or fake. It will also tell you the read and write speed of the card. I encourage anyone who is suspicious of their card to run this program.

I have learnt several things from micro SD cards since purchasing one recently for my phone. Firstly, the class classification is not standard across brands, some are faster than others. so don't get sucked in by 'class 2, class 4 etc' . Not only that but a same brand class 2 card from a couple of years ago is faster than a class 4 card today. Just know what you're getting yourself in for before you purchase, it can get quite confusing.

I have also been told that there is no big differences in speed if you are using it for your phone. Don't know if that is true or not

  • I bought the same card for $34 with them(on ebay) for my htc desire, so far so good. This is a good deal..

  • Anyone know where I can get a cheap but reliable Micro SDXC card? Just got a Sanyo camcorder and it says on the manual it only accepts SDXC…

    • I'm sure it can accept sdhc cards too. sdxc are really too expensive.
btw mymemory has 16gb kingston microsdhc class 4 for 19.99 pounds which is like $32 for anyone after class4.

      • I've got a 16GB Kingston C4, and I have a Sandisk C2. I would buy the Kingston C4 over the Sandisk, and the later C4 16GB Sandisks are actually slower than their older C2's

My Kingstion C4 gives close to 10MB/s. That is the same or better performance than other brands C6 cards such as Lexar and Transcend.

  • ON there website says (Compatible with Windows Vista and certified for Windows XP and Mac OS X)
Not sure if it is compatible with window 7?

Free shipping for 16GB but 8GB Delivery & Handling: is $5.99 and they do free shipping on ebay. WTF is SS thinking?

"95% of our memory cards are shipped within 1 working day after payment confirmation."

Hm…I ordered and paid on the weekend and get the confirmation email just now saying it's been dispatched, almost 5 working days later.

I'm not sure about the rest of the people on this forum but I find that ridiculous, not for an item like a microSD card and not when you make it a 48hr buy now sale. Don't think I will use ShoppingSquare again,
