I bought it at $278 last week with a $30 EBGAME giftcard. This week, the price dropped to $238 and even cheaper. I think they don't give $30 giftcard any more. Good Xmas gift. Here is the details:

  And I thought giftcards could be of any value above $20 or something.

  Last week, the price of this deal was $278. EBGAME also gave a $30 giftcard. This week, the price droped to $238 but not too sure if they still give away any giftcard.

  No more gift card. I bought one last week for $278. I went to EB after they dropped the price to $238, they gave me back $40 credit. I used it to get another game. ;-)

    Does EBGAMES has this sort of price protection policy? What did you tell them? Did they give you another $10 giftcard as you got $30 giftcard already?

      I've bought the WII for $278 without anything.

      Well, since I have not opened the wii yet. I just asked them if I can return it and then buy it again with the new price. Technically it has nothing wrong as you can possibly return the item with a full refund within the first 7 days of purchase. And more than that, EB has a full refund guarantee until 15/1/11 (conditions apply) currently in place.

      I showed them the receipt and they give me a new receipt plus $40 credits which I put it on another game.
