If you've played the free version of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex you may want to buy the premium edition down from AUD 25.45 to AUD 6.36 at Microsoft online store, further savings using your Microsoft Rewards. Not sure Xbox live gold is required.

Description

The Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Premium Edition includes the full version of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, as well as three expansions: the Power to Weight Car Pack, the Hyper Endurance Car Pack, and the Nürburgring Track Pack. In addition, players can test their skills in 15 new Spotlight Events showcasing what makes both these cars and the Nürburgring such legends of motorsport!

  I am a novice. I have an xbox one which I bought solely for use by my visiting grandkids. I'd like to buy this game. Does this require xBox Live to load and run? I don't have xbox live. Thanks.

    just remove xbox live if added on cart.

    More importantly, know that this is a PC ONLY version of the game.

    Don't buy unless you plan on playing it on a PC.

        5 eventually hit Gold, and 10 bucks at Target, and with how Game Pass is offering more and more exclusives I'd not be surprised if you eventually get a copy of F6 for pretty damn cheap too.

      I believe the xbox one platform is built on Win10 core - that way they can do this for pretty much all games

      As you can see from the comments above that is not the case.
      I did not know either and I do regularly look at PC games. If one is not actively interested in the series, there is no way of knowing any differences unless one is told.

        This is basically a bunch of add-ons for Forza Motorsport 6: Apex. The base game itself is free. It is a cutdown version of Forza Motorsport 6 (even if you buy those add-ons, it's still not close to it).

      I had no idea Apex meant PC version.

      I play Forza 7 and Forza Horizon 3 (Xbox).

  You guys get excited easily. This isnt Motorsport 6, this is an abbreviated version.

  There's actually very little content here… a handful of cars, a few tracks, a few races, no tuning. Its also not supported by Microsoft any more so what you see is what you get. It's basically a dead title.

  They moved onto Horizon 3 and Motorsport 7 on PC.

    You should probably mention that the base version of Forza Motorsport 6 Apex was free and pretty much a beta test to get the engine perfected for Windows. Regardless of it having "very little content" it was free and thus pretty good for the price of $0.

    Still looks good for the price, Directx 12 based racing game with 75 cars, seven tracks with various weathers and different competing modes for $6.36.

    Forza 7 is $100 on that site and Horizon 3 is $47.67, so big price difference.

      Forza Motorsport 6 Apex - $0

      Premium Edition (3 DLC Packs for the above free game) - $6.36

      I think some people are not understanding that this is just optional DLC, probably because of some very misleading marketing on MS behalf with that title. The Premium edition only adds a few cars and one or two tracks its pretty much just DLC, the base game which contains the vast majority of the content is still completely free.
