I'm sick of feeding the megalithic Google overlords my (admittedly fake) information for a pittance. Will I lose my play store credit if I uninstall the app? I'm guessing not, but just want to check.

I've never seen it take away credit before,as long as I've kept it increasing…..

As mentioned by Davo earlier, survey credits expire after 1 year of completing the survey. You will see this mentioned on completion of survey.
Previously if you stopped doing any surveys for a year, credits will start expiring, but if you continually do surveys, the credit will stay.
It looks like they have recently changed how the credits work and that they will start expiring in 1 year now no matter what.
I has about $80 from building it up over the years but recently found out it dropped to $30. Sucks to see it go but I wasn't really using it anyways.
Yes, Google Play credits earned from Google Rewards surveys started expiring. I had a whole stack of credits expire earlier this year (after they had never expired previously).
I was quite annoyed at Google.
I ended up buying stuff on the play store and also IAP so I would use up my credits and not have them expire.
Might buy some music or something next

No. The credit is tied to the google account used. Next time you reinstall the app just register with the same email and it should pick up your account.
