Dell Latitude 13 (3379) @ Graysonline ebay Good Value?

Unfortunately I missed the Lenovo Yoga 14" deals https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/359870, looking through graysonline @ ebay I found a Dell 13.3 inch that looks ok, it has older CPU but larger 256GB SSD, I'm after a 13-14" inch laptop is that one good value for $551.20?

  • Any dell that isn't a Latitude 7000 or Precision workstation is a turd.

    • Unfortunately no deals on the Latitude 7000, what advantages would they have over this one?

      • Build quality mostly with newer technology. This model is like 3 years old.

Get a CPU with a 7th or 8th gen intel CPU.

        • Thanks the CPU was the main thing I wasn't sure about, I'll see what else I can find.

        • @Blackrose:

If you are concerned about CPU. Don't buy a 7th gen, only buy an 8th gen. It is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade in speed (first time since about the 4th gen processors). That being said, it really depends on what you are using the computer for.

        • @hypie:

Ok I doubt will be able to get similar laptop with 8th gen CPU at similar price for while, not heavy use surfing net, watching videos and running charting software mainly.

        • @Blackrose:

Yeah correct, then pretty much anything will do it. Just make sure it has an SSD. Not a bad buy, but newer gen processors have better battery life if that is important to you.

        • @hypie:

Thanks yeah definitely want an SSD I like that this one has a 256GB one, might wait a couple of days see if any other deals pop up with the current ebay code.

What bout the MIIX 510? Last one, some guy brodened 8 of them

    Edit:
    All gone

    • I did see that one would rather a 13.3 or 14" inch model.
