Hey All,
Toys R Us are doing their $5 Off 'survey' thing-o again. As I'm from WA, i cant confirm it's available in other states, but I don't see why not… Go on - give it a try!
In any case, the deal states it's not available on "gift cards, nappies, baby food, baby formula, iTunes cards, iPods, game consoles, & non merchandise goods & services" - this includes online sales - but hey, i find the online store pretty crappy, so no loss there!
From the last time I used one of these, all I had to do was present a copy of the voucher - it DOES state that you need to show a receipt from toys r us from 'within a 30 day period', but i have NEVER been asked to actually provide one in the past (I suppose the 'ol "I must have left it at home" may work as well, if confronted…it is the season after all, and receipts sometimes get left in bags…)
I personally found this really great for buying really small items, such as $5 baby teddy bears (hehe = FREE!), or even just doing transactions one-by-one (multiple coupons required) to get $5 off on non-discounted items, if you really need something that's not on sale. I must point out however, that it does say a limit of 1 coupon per 'guest' per day (unless you find a nice checkout-person)…
u DO need a previous over $30 receipt to get this $5 off, but depend on the casher.
