  A better question is why you would want to buy those sheets at all. You could get normal cotton sheets from the usual places or go for the more expensive bamboo sheets (not a blend) from somewhere like Ettitude, slightly more expensive still are linen sheets from somewhere like Linen Shed, or lovely silk sheets from somewhere like Sisters Silk. It all depends on your budget and how important bed sheets are to you.

  Adairs Worlds Softest Sheets are rubbish. You can only wash them in cold water by hand or on a gentle cycle, they must be dried on a washing line in the shade, can't be ironed unless the iron is cool but then only on the reverse and never on the trims. Even when you follow the instructions to a tee and consult your horoscope for good measure, they discolour and fade, and no longer feel soft.
