  • A link would help.

  • This or the Xiaomi?

    • $25 price difference if you want the Xiaomi to do body fat tracking.

    • Get the xiaomi. Similar price if you get the older model without body fat measurement. Slightly more if you want newer model.

    aren't these types of scales pretty useless? body fat can't be measured like this I thought?

    • They're useless for exact measurements but useful to measure progress.

      • Not really….drink a few glasses of water, weigh yourself again and it'll say you have got fatter

          it probably works best in the morning after doing your daily business and before ingesting anything to get the most accurate reading

          @jozbargain:
          Yeah true. However, the point I am making is that it just seems to register any changes as fat. I mean, you could get a reading, then hold a container of water and you just got fatter. I have the (overpriced) Garmin which does all kinds of metrics. Has fat, water content, muscle percentage and bone density. I went on a 6 hour endurance bike ride and cooked myself. Ran out of water and got severely dehydrated. I lost 2 kg's due to fluid loss. I weighed myself and it told me that I had lost 2kg in fat and muscle….according to the scales my water content went up!!

          It works by measuring the current up one leg then down the other…..dunno how it can measure fat. My legs hold very little fat, it's all stored in that spare tyre around my gut.

          I think it's a fun gimmick though, for this price it is all ok…just don't waste your money on the expensive types
