Don't let airlines and specifically Jetstar deny you your entitlement to a proper refund. Cash not a voucher or part refund. Find out ACCC legal opinion on what you should get in various circumstances. Watch it all on the repeat of tonight's "Checkout" program on ABC2. Go to abc.net.au and it should be available on iview.

If you know where you stand legally, airlines are likely to play ball and follow proper process. Program covers cash refunds, anomalies in Jetstar Club entitlements and other issues. Well worth a look.

    yea jetstar is cheap, but its the worst customer service airline. Hopefully when u fliy with them u never need to speak to staff.

    . Knowing your legal rights and holding companies accountable is essential in maintaining fairness. It is NOT whingeing.
