Do they still make series 1 Qc35s? Google assistant (and Siri and other counterparts for that matter) is just a gimmick to me, especially as I have an Iphone. If I could pay 50 bucks less for a series 1 I'd be stoked.
For this price you're better off buying series II as you won't find the series 1 on sale most likely
That button an be selected (in the app) to turn the NC on and off rather than use it for Google assist. It's very handy feature that I Use all the time (the sound is noticeably richer with it off in quite locations).
Finally got my QC35s, you were right. Unfortunately they make my ears very sweaty…
Good Choice! I haven't found that about my ears unless I'm exercising with them on.
@ash2000: Yeah, that was my intention though. IMO they weren't worth the price unless I got to use them several hours a day (transport to and from work, transport to and from uni, connected to my computer at home, and at the gym). Kinda disappointed my body won't let me use them at the gym :(
I've never seen anyone use QC35's at a gym! ……in fact I've never seen anyone use over the ear headphones at a gym.
You got 3 out of 4 of your wishes. Let's substitute gym usage with airplane travel to get you 4 out of 4! Airplane use us where they pay for themselves in just a single long haul flight.
@ash2000: Weird, there are quite a few QC35s at my gym which is by no means an expensive gym @ $7.95 a week…there are also several pairs of Beats over ear headphones. IDK how they do it… Yes good point about the plane travel - I will have to overcome my hatred of flying just to get my moneys worth out of these headphones!! Hahaha
lol
OK, maybe I'm just missing the over ear headphones at the gym, but definitely no QC35's at my gym. I've certainly seen plenty of on-ear "beats", which must be bloody hot too.
ain't they normall goes for $350 or sth?
I am torn between the Bose and Sony ones….I really need to test them out. Agree that the Google Assistant is really a gimmick which an Apple user like me don't need.
I personally think the Sony headset has a superior sound quality, and the noise cancelling is far better. The only issue is whether the head band is still breaking on the new model. I had the 1000x before, and had to return it after 2 months, and switched to the Bose QC35- but it just isn't even close to being as good imo.
You should buy the headphones that are the most comfortable to wear. Doesn't matter how good the sound or NC is (both are excellent on both fronts) relative to the other if they're uncomfortable to wear.
I find Sony NC headphones extremely uncomfortable, big, bulky and tight……of course these attributes are purely subjective.
In myer city they have both on display. Bose has 'fluffier' sponge. Try yourself. Sound quality I cant judge.
Borrowed both from friends. Though Bose is more comfortable.
Sony looks better, wins sound quality, has NFC, has touch gesture, but failed in making user more comfortable.
So personally will go Bose QC35, but really depends on personal feeling.
Bose can connect to 2 devices simultaneously, while sony cannot, but sony has NFC to touch and connect.
how long will it take to delivery to Sydney matro area?
Was gonna ask the same thing. Hoping to receive it by friday.
5 to 9 business days according to the seller's answer to postage related question.
