Cheapest price in Australia per StaticIce is $399.
Awesome price for a high-end motherboard (and Gigabyte's flagship motherboard).

There is a $30 coupon you can apply to your order by clicking the coupon box just below the price, which brings the price from $219.99 USD to $189.99 + $17.31 shipping.

For Intel 8th gen Coffee Lake CPUs.

Obviously there's the usual warranty issues with purchasing outside of Australia, but at this price I'm willing to risk it!

Sli PS3? Pretty pretty pretty good

    • Yeah add it to your ps3 so you can mine some crypto on it dude pretty decent setup imo.

    • Noice. A little more RAM and you'll keep up with the new Xbox no problems.

  • Why didn't Amazon just put this thing as available in their Australian website as this ships to Australia anyway?
That way, the warranty will be handled by their Australian branch. Well, maybe it's not that easy….

Yeah who would have thought that setting up shop in a whole new country with different regulations and policies is a difficult task

  • Does the 4 year protection plan work to add on?

alternatively Asus z370-e is $190 USD ON AMAZON

  • no wifi or bluetooth?

    • none. Instead there are 2 Ethernet connectors…

      • the Asus z370-e may be a better option

        • same price on newegg

        • @Ratzie: But the shipping is about $40. Not worth it, unless your getting something else like ram.
Otherwise it's better to get it from Amazon for free pickup, or $12-16 shipping.

Looking at the reviews and the specs I cant see what's so good about this board, is it just the lighting? I'm about to pull the trigger on the ASRock Z370 Extreme4 which is cheaper and seems to be better overall.

i'm waiting for the ASRock Z370 TAICHI to drop below $200 USD

      • Thanks.Let us know how you go.

  • ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING LGA1151 - Isn't this a better buy at $190(US) Free shipping with Prime pickup: Amazon

    • From what i understand, the z370-e is a mid tier motherboard whereas the Gaming 7 is high end.

  • The z370 Gaming 7 board is the centerpiece of my recent build (December last year) and I've been ambivalent about it. Forget about ever running Windows 7 on it - no drivers. I do wish it had bluetooth/wireless, though that's easily enough fixed. Still I'd much prefer that to lots of LEDs to change which colour it glows.

Sound is a bit of an annoyance too. Puts through a hum when the machine is off. Goes away when it's on. Means I have to turn off the speakers when I turn off the computer or put up with a hum.

If you want to install an M.2 SDD realize you'll either lose your X4 PCIE or 2 SATA ports.

I would RMA it. That should not be happening. I'd be pretty annoyed with that..

Bit ridiculous how quick Win7 support has been dropped as well..

      • It was a JW build. I reckon they'd blame the speakers or my power supply for the hum. Unless it happened for them, I'd get nothing out of it. To be honest I just don't have the energy to go through yet another battle and be without my computer. Plus while I don't have anything too personal on it I don't like having my system with Steam account etc. at the shop over this.
