          Hi,
This will depend. But do not worry we will let you know on what happens.

    • Got any scissors?

  • As above comment, S8 is sold out. Keen to purchase when available.

  • What is better - this or tempered glass?

    • Probably this from what i've read. Because of the curved edges some tempered glass protectors dont cover the entire edge either that or they dont sit flush. There are some more expensive tempered glass options for about $50 but some people say they arent worth it. I prefer tempered glass but not for $50.

Depends on personal preference. I always stick with glass as it becomes the first point of impact but because of the curved glass unlike flat screens the coating is only on the very outer edge and not on the flat portions… doesn't last very long in my experience….I had two on my old note in 2.5 years… I'm on my 4th since the S8+ has been released. 1st just came off after dust got underneath when I took it off there was very little of the sticky section seller sent a replacement, 2nd just cracked, 3rd was when i was playing a musical instrument and hitting it off my leg cracked the glass… 4th was in the pocket of my bag with my watch and had to run for the tram.. protector was very much smashed up… but the screen undernath has been fine so far so $40 isnt too bad in comparison to $400 for a screen.

The film ones for me come off pretty quickly too because of the curves and don't have a nice feel on the fingers when sliding and not completely invisible but maybe these guys figured out how to make them so…

      Hi,
As a Samsung Galaxy S8 user myself, I would highly recommend the clear. This is due to the fact glass does not cover the edges and the touch sensitivity was very weak. So I decided to move to clear.

      Kind Regards

    • Don't get glass. The adhesive is only on the edges. Dust will get underneath that glass. It will also leave a gap between glass and screen making it insensitive to touch.

I wish Samsung didn't discontinue the non-Edge variants of their flagships.

  • I have a Spigen tough armor case. Anyone know how these film screen protectors go with a case. Do they lift off very easily due to the case at the edges? I for one find the curved edge fairly useless and it creates such a hassle to protect the phone.

    • I have Tech21 case and official Samsung screen protector. Protector seems fine not peeling except where I did dodgy install at corner. I have read reports that some cases sit tighter and so film lifts off.
Have UAG case from harvey norman Ozbargain deal on way so will see how it goes…

      • My film protector starting to lift off on all corners after less than day of UAG case use. Think I'll be going back to my tech21 case.

        • which UAG case did u get, I ordered a plasma and was looking at screen protectors. So I take it you do not recommend Samsung screen protector + UAG covers?

Did you keep taking you cover on and off or did it naturally lift off

    • they sometimes lift up for me on the volume/bixby area however a quick use of your nails to push the screen protector bellow the edge of the case solves it. This only seems to happen if the case has been pushed out a little.
but mine is a Spigen Slim armour though, don't know about the fat one.

      • I'm pretty sure the screen protector will lift off as this happen to me. I own a Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case.

  • Sold out

  • Looks like s8+ back in stock bought one Thanks.
