  • Damn. Make sure that you're logged out of Amazon USA or that links to the USA site for the Amazon music there on a 30 day trial.

Signed up for this yesterday. Seems OK but think will stick with GPM and Spotify Dogfood.

  • Thanks OP. It worked. I had to create a new Amazon Music Australia account, logged in and then enter my credit/debit card details. And then use that web link to start the 90 day trial.

  • Family plan for 6 at $17.99 is same price as google.

        Stupid downvoters… Don't worry, I get it :)

      • Agree and not just audio hey

      • Redtube is terrible for music. All I hear is moaning.

    • Doesn't that make this 3 months free a better deal?(Bigger saving)?

I’m glad I got onto the YouTube Red google play intro promo deal. I get both for $9.99 per month. So good.

Crap deal compared to their Prime offering in the US which you get shipping, music, video etc all for about the same price.

Here they're just selling the elements separately. I WOULD pay for prime, but I'm not paying for the stuff separately.

    • Prime Music has only two million songs. This Amazon Music plan has 45 million songs. My music taste runs to the eclectic so I'm keen to have access to the big catalogue. Apple Music with quota free streaming on Telstra works best for me at the moment. The catalogue of Apple Music, Spotify and this Amazon Music seem to all be identical in terms of the number of songs. Given the prices are all the same it comes down to data free streaming and app usability for me. The Apple Music app crashes and skips songs occasionally so I may try Spotify at some point in the future.

      • 2 million songs is good enough for me.

  • does that come with Prime?

  • Disappointing that there is no Amazon music service in the sonos controller in Australia

    Where is Amazon Music available?
    Amazon Music Library:
US, UK, DE, AT, CH, FR, IT, ES

    Prime Music
    US, UK, DE

    Amazon Music Unlimited:
US, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES

    • Because they are only just launching Amazon services here. Alexa (and surely Amazon Music) has been announced by Sonos to be coming in autumn.

      • Alexa has already been released. My echos turn up tomorrow in post

        • I was talking about Alexa services on Sonos. They have to be enabled which will take a little while after the local Alexa launch.

  • Looks like a cheap plan if you getting the Echo $4.99 and only using one device

    Plan Dates Price
    Individual $11.99/month
    Family $17.99/month
Echo (Echo, Dot, Tap) $4.99/month (sign up from device)
UNLIMITED for Device allows you to stream music on a single Echo device (including Dot). To change your current subscription to the Echo plan, go to your preferred Echo device and say, “Alexa, downgrade Amazon Music.” Your subscription will change to the Echo plan at the end of the current term, at which point music streaming will be limited to your preferred device.

  • Does anyone know when this offer will end?

  • Still Chinese, Japanese songs in English song name like google?

  • I looked at this today, they have a lot of japanese music (impressive considering that they are so tight with their distribution) But no korean songs at all. So I think it's a pass from me

Also couldn't get the 90 days thing to show up for me
