Im looking for a light slim i3 laptop hopefully around the $500-700 mark. Is seeming to be pretty hard. cuz most of the slim ones are either core2 solo or pentiums or something else. does any one know who makes slim light core i3 laptops?
Which Slim/Light Core i3 Laptop?
Comments
thanks mate. looks like a US site thou? was hoping to find something here in oz.
Slim and light in Oz, i3…
ULV series… hmm.. could be upwards of 1k D=
Could you be a little more specific on the requirements?
Optical drive?
What you will be using it for, do cosmetics matter?
What is the preferred HDD size, and what speed (5400 RPM and 7200 RPM)Yeah it's a US site, delivery - UPS (around +$105)
Why buy from the US?
Because ASUS has global warranty and buying from the US is a lot cheaper, why pay $300 more to "support the Australian economy" and to get the laptop on the spot from some rip-off retailer such as jb-hifi or Harvey Norman when you can get the same product at a cheaper price (catch is you have to wait 5~6 working days)?
Grey imports don't matter if it's global warranty =Pi think its got to be light cuz i want it for travelling. but i3 so i know that it will have at least a little processing power to handle small jobs. i hate having to sit a a computer that laggy
Not sure how slim/light you want, but this store seems to have some good deals, http://www.onlinecomputer.com.au/
It would be around 800-900 mark, from www.bhphotovideo.com, this includes delivery.
Here's one - 910 AUD (my sis got it)
