Item Not Received from Gear Best

Hi

I ordered a Xiaomi Bluetooth speaker from Gearbest back in November. It never arrived, I am only just chasing it up as I had forgot about it with it being a busy time of year and the kids just going back after holidays.

Anyway, I contacted gearbest who gave me a tracking number and a link to the DPEX website which says it arrived in Sydney 27/11. Tracking on Australia Post says "pending no results yet".

Is there anything I can do about it now - can anyone advise best course of action to get this resolved.

    Drop in on your local post office and ask if they have a package waiting for you (you never know).

      Why would my local postoffice have it and not attempt to deliver it?

    start a paypal dispute.

      I had a similar issue with them about 6 months ago, they didn't respond to my refund request for a few days. Opened a PayPal dispute late one night, next morning I woke up to an apology and a refund ¯_(ツ)_/¯

      How long after paying for an item before its too late to initiate such a process?
      At what length of time before you should give up and contact paypal?

      I'm in the same situation as OP though my order was made on the 28th Dec.

      Finally I found a site (szdpex.com.cn) which accepted my tracking number.

      It suggests an arrival in Sydney on the 9/1 (Received And Clearing) with no further movement.

      Auspost site suggests its untrackable

        You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment

    ask refund from gearbest. ( your parcel package may disappear during transport ).

    I ordered the exact same product and also didn't receive it. DPEX as well, You're talking about the Xiaomi BT speaker that has SD card slot and 3.5mm input right?

    I got a full refund from Gearbest, just open a Paypal dispute, wait 24 hours and then you should get a refund pretty quick.
