Wanting to get my Dad a good watch for XMAS. No idea what ones are good but after one that is waterproof and is a every day watch.
Was looking at the Suunto T3C Heart Rate Training watches but not sure it they are worth the $$ and only come with a 2 year warranty
Anyone point me in the right direction for a good one?
Yeah, that's the old term…I think the correct modern terminology would be "watch resistant to X metres"! :p

So, what exactly are you after? A heart rate training watch isn't exactly one you'd wear everyday… not unless you're a gym junkie.
People have a lot of personal preference for watches, so buying a watch as a gift can be quite tricky. They might not wear it if they don't like the appearance.

Yes you would have to arrange a US mail forwarder but they have some nice watches at times.
