Renew Aldimobile 1 Year Superpack

Hi,

My 1 year superpack from Aldi mobile is about to expire next month. I received an email a month or so ago saying that I can renew the pack online, but I can't see a link anywhere on the aldi mobile site for purchase another years worth?

Those of you who also purchased it, how did you renew?

Regards,
MrHyde

  • Like to know this also. We bought a spare voucher for renewal purpose before we got those emails, so will be applying that voucher first, and hopefully renew the second sim without having to use a voucher.

  • I'm in the same boat too, albeit mine expires in 9 days time. I wrote to them (Aldi) today enquiring the same and their rep (in UK, apparently) responded with some bogus response that they can't assist with online renewal due to data retention blah blah, and that I'll need to call them on their hotline to discuss.. What the…

  • That makes me 4 - rather than me 2 or me also or me as well (measwell?)

  • Just received an email from Aldi advising that the recharge option (for another 1yr super pack) will appear in my app (or via website) AFTER my current pack expires (in 6 days time).

In essence, it's the same offer as last year - 42Gb for $249. No extra perk unfortunately.

    • I also got that today and another one saying if I don't recharge my PAYG plan before it expires, my account will be deactivated.

I'm a but confused on exactly which day I need to recharge.

  • My PAYG expires as well and you need to recharge this as BASE before you can ADD any value packs. 1 Year Super Pack is a value pack.
There are 2 bases, PAYG15 $15 or PAYG30 $30 which you can use towards your credit and BASE expires in 365days.

My based just expired and I added PAY15 which will expire on 04Feb19 with $15 credit. However my '1 Year Super Pack' expires also today 04Feb and this is what I can do but have yet to press 'recharge now' button but will do so tonight at around midnight.
You might as well do the following as your base expires and instead of paying $15 then another 249 for a 1 yr pack $264 use the base towards your credit(intially I didn't think this is possible) like I say I have yet to press the recharge. But I think this will work.

After adding PAY15, I choose value packs to recharge, choose '1 Year Super Pack' and on the bottom where it says ' Pay with your existing credit' use the slider to move 'credit to use to max' which means you use max of $15 and you are left with $239. then press recharge.

  • Just renewed my 1 year superpack 3 days ago. I looked at my account now and found out I have close to 48GB data left. Is Aldi giving bonus data or it just a glitch?

    • +1

6GB bonus as a Loyalty Reward. That's what the CSR told me on the phone when I recharged.

      • This is interesting they did not mention this bonus data anywhere. The reminder email they sent me last week still saying 42GB.
I guess you could post this as a deal.

        • It's only a 'deal' if already have the super pack and are recharging it.

So… nah, just a loyalty bonus. But 6GB is 500MB per month. So… 4GB total per month over 3.5GB

  • My superpack is ending on Christmas day and i was wondering, if i renew it with anotehr superpack, does the data rollover? Because earlier this year, I added extra data into the plan since I ran out. So basically does that excess data rollover into the new plan or does it just disappear?
    Thanks
