      Good value. I have the same one and I also recommend it. My only regret is not clear coating the shelves so that they are easier to wipe down. But hey, who's got time for that.

        I painted the shelves, 2 coats of outdoor water based paint.

        Best thing I did!! Protects the shelves, easy to wipe down. Am sure it’ll make them last significantly longer.

          Can you please provide link to what you used. Cheers

          @ihbh:

          Any paint you have laying around should do
          But….I used an exterior water based dulux, with built in primer. Worked so well. Called “Weathershield”

          Here’s a link to what I used:

          I didn’t use orange though !! :) was an off white type colour

          Weathershield is great paint!

    Deals (discounts from usual price) typically occur when they price match an Aldi special buy - need to keep eye out for this.

  • The price looks ok.

  • flat pack your boxes > easier to store

    We have a few of the Bunning's shelves and they are good. As people have indicated keep the heavy stuff at the bottom, which you should do anyway. Watch the weight ratings and don't try to climb up on them.

  • If you own the property build your own with some lengths of pine timber etc - did that in ours, bolted to walls. Very easy job from a technical perspective, holds an absolute ton, cost way less than if I'd bought stand alone shelves. Lots on links via google but very simple and well worth considering if you have basic tools and High School woodworking skill. :-)

    • I'm good with skills. Can you point me in terms of a design please.

      • C'mon pal - as stated just google DIY garage shelves and you've got loads of options - alter to suit your needs - it's just a very simple frame so hard to go wrong. I used ultra cheap 30x70 T2 pine - glued and screwed together - had some sheets of formply I can for shelves (lots of options to do shelves - ply likely easiest with pine under as support.

        Used masonry screws to affix to brick walls in garage - I'd have cost me thousands to have the number of shelves I have up and their weight bearing capacity is better than 95% of commercial stuff and you can do heights to suit your needs. :-)
