AEG Cordless 58V Mower, 2x4ah Batteries, Charger & Line Trimmer Bunnings Powerpass Price $760 (Membership Required) @ Bunnings

70

Got this from a PowerPass email (the trade account), so I'm not sure if it's available to regular customers for the regular price ($799 just for the mower, charger & batteries pack) plus $1.

Buy the mower, 2 x 4Ah batteries and charger pack for $759 and get any one of the following for $1.

Jet Blower
Line Trimmer
4-port dual charger
Hedge trimmer
Chainsaw 16"

While I'm usually a fan of AEG stuff, I have a had a couple of the drills have trouble lately. So I think now it's overpriced and not as good as I thought it was, but at this price it may be worthwhile. Also consider the Victa at Bunnings and Ego (which owners like a lot).

I would be very hesitant to get a trimmer that couldn't take (or come with) with a SpeedFeed head on it (not sure if the AEG can take it).

*****Just noticed the AEG product site has a "Limited' label on the photo's. That probably indicates this is a runout model.

  • Store name in title please.

  • Damn, i read that as get all the following for $1

    • If you have the required hutzpah you could get each item by returning the mower, then buying it again with the next $1 tool. Do that enough times and you have them all for $764.

  • Good deal. Anyone want to share their PowerPass membership number?

It looks like you need a temporary paper card at least, which might be available in email form.

I haven't yet applied for a Bunnings Commercial PowerPass card. Can I obtain the benefits today?
Yes, you can obtain the Cash Only benefits today. Please go to the Trade Desk at your local store. The team will require your business details and can provide you with a Temporary Paper Card. Alternatively, in Step 3 of the online application please select Yes 'Temporary Paper Card Required' and this will be emailed to you directly.

Do you just need an ABN to sign up? Or do they actually require you to be in the relevant industry?

    • Thank you tekisei.

    • You need an ABN and are suppose to be in a relevant industry.

They ask you a few questions about the industry you are in, from my experience as long as you have a generic sounding trading name and you can justify how it is relevant they will give you one.

  • Good discussion here by commercial users (of a few brands):

So… anyone in the relevant industries willing to help out some Ozbargainers by creating a cash-only trade account with Bunnings?
