Need some help from anyone who has experienced the phones. Thanks
Is the camera on Motorola Moto G5 plus better or the Oppo A73?
Comments
A mixture of food/landscape/view etc (indoor and outdoor) and the occasional selfie
I have the moto g5 plus. Generally a very good camera. sometimes focusses on wrong part of subject, particularly on close ups, but this is easy to remedy by changing to professional mode.
Don't know the other phone.
Surely there would be online reviews of each phone's camera? Are you able to focus on a specific object close up? I am trying to to focus on a plant while the camera is very close and all it does is focus the soil behind the plant and the plant is blury. I tried pro mode but couldn't find a button.
yes - as already said, in professional mode you can set the focus point
What about your thoughts on the front camera? Thanks
never used it
Oppo F5 Youth = Oppo A73 in this region.

Labelled; Oppo F5 and Motorola Moto G5S - same cameras.
I have an Oppo F1S, so I am not going to comment on how its camera does, because I am not sure how the internals of that stack up across the different Oppo models.
But I do offer this. When I bought it, as an emergency when my previous phone shut down, I read online that its camera performance was quite ordinary, compared to like-priced Android phones.
The pics were not absolutely brilliant when I got it, but for the sake of convenience, I changed to the camera app I had been using before, which is Open Camera. Much better results.
So, even if the handset you pick is not the greatest to start with, you might be able to improve it with a different app.
Just a thought. What camera app are you using if I may ask?
It's Open Camera
What sort of photos do you take most of the time?
