Same here - I can't see me getting the same ease and control with those shorter straps, and you lose all the advantage of the lift and weight bearing being taken by the thigh muscles - the principle advantage of "Wardrobe" straps.
It also looks like they just slip under the item, rather than hooking on…
You obviously don't lift bro. Their biceps must be ripped
:P
If that was to me, then five seasons taking ~1000 bales a day from the field to stack in a barn, [though admittedly New Holland] some time moving furniture from house > warehouse > house for Vinnies, a year swinging an 80Kg spot welding gun under a car to do ~40 welds in ~ 50 seconds before doing the sills, guard and boot in the remaining minute and ~ 30 years rock-climbing.
But if you mean have I ever paid a gym for some (profanity)-flaps while gobbling roids Cuz, no. I earned what I have and wanted something of health value I could keep, not future fat centres with a side order of acne, increased libido and a shrunken non-functional dick.
Cheaper at Banggood
I got these off ebay last year. Listings had exactly the same pics.
So have a good look at the pics- the straps look beefy and wide right? The actual straps that arrived is no where near as beefy or wide.
Just a heads up.
The Banggood ones state it is 2" thick (@5cm thick).. hmmm.
When folded, probably…
Oh, and there's also an add on that I think might be capatible (I aint guaranteeing it!) :-
Shoulder straps for the wusses :)
Could have used these post xmas for moving the kids prezzies & for stringing up Santa….where's my bike????
Where can we buy the wider/beefier ones?
Cool. I've been looking for a cost effective way to break both arms at once.
These type of straps are actually amazing. We moved house a few years a go and the movers turned up with these for moving the heavy furniture (theirs were pretty heavy duty). I was intrigued by them and asked the old block in charge about them. He said he'd been moving furniture for 20 years and they were the best thing for moving heavy stuff. very little pressure on the back compared to the shoulder straps. They moved a lot of heavy stuff with ease. I was really impressed.
Don't know about these particular ones being sold, but I used red ones that looked pretty much the same late last year and they were awesome.
Had never seen them before, but having them half way between the wrist and elbow was really comfortable and moving stuff was a lot easier.
thanks, moving next month.
Do you really use the straps like in the photo? I've only ever used over the shoulder straps.
