o Thanks man :) ill look into it :D yeh, just had a mate refer the other and well, its pretty amazing product. I'm wondering if its a first of its kind and if we are going to expect more like it, bluetooth to phone with in depth cable testing etc. :)

I built all the cabling for my CCNA/CCNP lab with the above (similar) kit. Considering you can buy pre-made cables for a few dollars each, I don't see the point in spending $300 on a cable tester.
but the above kit would only test if your ethernet cable is terminated correctly or not, it does not do the VLAN/DHCP stuff, however, do you really those functions?
Anyway, if work is paying for it, go nuts :)
