OzBargain Flash App

Hi all
I've created an app using Tasker to query the Ozbargain page and grab the last four bargains from the RSS feed (note the RSS feed may not be as up to date as the website). The app will then flash this up on the screen.

I've tested it and works fine for me. Happy for others to give it a go.

Oh, it only works on Android.

      I assume you realise how much harder that would be?

      This app was created from a short script created inside the Tasker app, which can be exported as a stand-alone Android app and distributed as a side-loaded APK file.

      To make an iOS version would probably mean learning a new programming language, writing the entire script again, paying a developer license fee to Apple and undergoing a quality check prior to being listed on the App Store. And that's assuming he has a Mac to write it on, since Apple require all apps to be created in macOS.

    Looks ok,

    BUT

    • Would be great if you could sort by popular, rather than simply see the last feed.

    As it stands OZBargains on Android is probably my pick for basic searching.
