myus vs shipito, bad Experience with Shipito, Feeling Ripped off

recently used myus and shipito to ship some shoes i bought from us, they charge so differently, feeling ripped off by shipito

myus, 4 pairs of dress and casual shoes, from rockport and cole haan, total weight after consolidation, 4.9kg, charge was 58usd, 73aud sent via FedEx, arrived with no problem
good thing they don't charge dimensional weight, also i have premium membership and 30% off shipping courtesy of amex

shipito, just 2 pairs of outdoor hiking shoes, from backcountry, backcountry says the shoes weigh less then 1kg a pair, package arrived at shipito, they measured it, 3.7kg, what? 1.7 kg of packaging, starting to feel ripped off but ok, then they showed the shipping charge 82.7usd 103.5aud, via auspost. much more expensive for less weight and via a inferior courier, WTF?
it turns out that they charge dimensional weight as well, the package measures about 40x40x25cm (not really that big), and dimensional weight turned out to be more than 6kg.
I was so stupid that I have only their basic membership which doesn't offer consolidation, with consolidation the dimensional weight probably will come down significantly

oh, well, lesson learnt, the package from shipito is still on it way, hope it arrive ok

    Shipito used to be very good. $82 USD for shipping is insane for 2 shoes. I used them back in 2016 for a pair of adult skis and bindings, and a junior snowboard, bindings and boots and that only cost $136 US via TNT!!!!

    Many of the forwarder company use both dimensional or dead weight - whichever cheaper. Try to check shipito shipment in myus shipment calculator? Calc as well in myus site in case there was a mistake. Preferably when you receive the item.

    You're comparing two different membership levels. What is the prices for two standard memberships and two premium memberships minus the Amex?
