Xiaomi USB Fan US $2.99 (~AU $3.74) @ GearBest

FANMIG

I admit we’ve seen lower prices on this fan previously but it’s now impossible to buy it for that low. Just hope LITB / BangGood can beat this deal.

Fake ones yes, but we are accustomed to the genuine ones appearing also for around that price point on GearBest et al.

Us$3 will get a cool reception here.

I still have a few unopened Xiaomi fans at home that I bought at $1 before.
Hope the price keeps rising just like bitcoin and I can sell back?

How many hours would this last? The fake ones (had 2) lasted barely 3 weeks at 8hrs of usage daily (weekdays only). Has anyone been using these beyond 6 months at said frequency?…otherwise these are just as 'good' as the fakes, and not worth my further consideration (or pricedrop for that matter).

    • I’ve been using mine since past 4 months averaging 5-6 hours a day Mon-Fri and still works like the day it did when first connected. :)

I use everyday this summer. I just leave it on whole day on powerbank. i am not sure if this will last for a year but for $1 I am happy with its quality.

    • I've used mine constantly in summer similar to your usage, I own two also. Owned both for 6 months or so; Both still work perfectly. Very well made.

    • been using it every single night continuously for the past 3 months
      (plugged into my xioami powerbank)

      no issues really its reliable

  • My one broke after a few weeks of usage too (5-6 hours a day), and I was sure it was a genuine one as well. But I can't really complain, as it was only $1 dollar when I got it.

Could you use this with a battery pack as a hedge trimmer? Seems like a much cheaper option if you hone the blades a little.
