Smart power plug. This is the Wifi version that connects to your home router, and you can flick the power on and off or schedule times using mihome app.
Damnit, need the zigbee, missed the other one :(
Difference between ZigBee and non-zigbee?
ZigBee requires you to have a Xiaomi gateway, but uses less power and has power usage monitoring built-in.
Do anyone know if this works with Google home?
It does not work directly with Google home. No Xiaomi product does for the moment. Only yeelight.
Unless you install home assistant and connect both your Xiaomi devices and Google home account to home assistant.
Thanks for the precision. I suppose the best way would be having a xiaomi gateway and link it to a google home?
Wrong!
Even Xioami Gateway doesn't work with Google Home directly.
I bought this, which has native support for Google Home.
I paid USD $9.99, it is currently listed for USD $10.19 (only $0.20) more. Make sure you select Australian version.
Also supports Alexa natively.
Here is the link for the deal, I bought it from.
See this link for a guide, how to connect them both.
Thats not correct. Xiaomi Phillips bulbs work directly with Google Home when installed in the Singapore region.
Do you mean the yeelight?
Only if connected under yeelight app. There is no Xiaomi service for Google home (yet I presume).
Don't think Xiaomi Phillips natively work with Google Home.
You're right, my apologies. It is the other way round. Yeelights in Singapore work, these can only be added in Mainland China, therefore no Google Home direct integration.
Do I need me of these if I want to control my Xiaomi air purifiers from my phone?
No. You can do that directly with the Mi Home app.
Got one…Thank you mfsc300.
What does this do?
