There appears (based on my searching capabilities) limited and or infrequent bargain deals on beds.

Maybe people don't buy or look for beds as often as other items. Also like any other furniture products, there are so many brand/model variations which are incomparable between stores, so it's hard to tell if there's a bargain.
Or maybe people just don't post deals eg. you're a member for almost 5 years, no deals posted but expect others to post deals.
Feel free to post some bed deals, nobody is stopping you.
Beds are are hard to compare, and frequently on “fake” sale.

The industry deliberately makes it hard to compare mattress quality, construction and prices.
The same mattress could be $500 in one store and $3500 in another where they've simply rebranded it.
