Samsung push pull door lock - battery performance

Hi

Would be interested to hear how others have fared with this lock.

At the moment I am only getting 1 month's battery life. I've tried several different battery brands including Duracell but no change. The door is opened on average ten times a day.

My model is SHS-P710.

    maybe something wrong with the unit, look for replacement or update the firmware ?

    We've got the SHP-DS510.

    From memory, it came with 4xAA energizer batteries that lasted about 1 year.

    1 month sounds NQR.

      lol the advantages of dumb locks - no batteries ever!, no firmware to update, will last decades …

        dumb locks are the type of locks you use like this Samsung one.

        THis is coming from someone with a Samsung TV, fridge, phone, watch, and wireless charger
