Featuring a soft, perforated upper, the Vibram V-RUN shoes are breathable, comfortable, and offer a great transition for runners that want to switch from traditional footwear to a more minimalist approach. Each pair features a 2-millimeter EVA footbed and an antimicrobial Drillexsockliner, along with an XS Run rubber outsole that provides stability and grip on a variety of surfaces. Vi-Lite cushioning provides lightweight shock absorption while maximizing energy conservation with each foot strike. Finally, Vibram's Mont compound provides firmer support and durability, while maintaining optimal performance at extremely low temperatures.

pro tip: if you are using mens eu 40 vibram, you can get the womens but go one up ie 41

  • Camel toe for your toe.

  • they are famous in europe and usa not sure about australian

  • Size 40 or 41? Usually wear size 9 US.

It says to go down 1 size compared to the usual vibrams.

  • A black pair would go perfect with my gorilla suit!

  • They used to be around usd 70-80 but recently dropped the price due to tighter competition. There's another no name brand with similar design which I bought from Waikele Outlet in Hwaii for USD 17 and it's as comfortable as my old Vibram.

This is my shoes of choice for Deadlift.

    • How about squats?

      • +3

Try squatting in barefoot or socks first. Record or watch yourself in the mirror. You need good flexibity and ankle mobility to squat with shoes that lack a heel (Vibrams, Converse Chuck Taylor, skateboard shoes, etc)
If you can squat below parallel without your heels lifting off the ground or without buttwink (anterior pelvic tilt - where your butt moves inwards underneath you) then you should be safe.

Vibram has no sole or cushion at all so it's not ideal to use it for exercises that put a lot of pressures on your heel. These exercises are the push ones such as leg presses and squats.

However, sometimes I use my Vibram for leg presses for Hamstrings as I generate the force by pushing the front part of my feet. Each to their own so you will have to work it out which method is best for you because nobody knows how you feel which muscles work the most except yourself.

  • Things have certainly changed since I stopped going to the gym 15 years ago.
