[PC Steam] Overcooked USD $5.77 (AUD $7.23) @ Humble Bundle

870

Almost lowest historical price.

Overcooked is a chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players. Working as a team, you and your fellow chefs must prepare, cook and serve up a variety of tasty orders before the baying customers storm out in a huff. Sharpen your knives and dust off your chef’s whites, there isn’t mushroom for error and the steaks are high in these crazy kitchens!

Play solo or engage in classic, chaotic couch co-op for up to four players in both co-operative and competitive challenge modes. You’ll have to cook a range of different dishes and work together in order to become the most effective and ultimate team!

very good game. Best way to turn your friends into enemies.

Fair warning, this game is PRIMARILY multiplayer and only works offline/locally, so buying it on Steam is a great idea if you have a local 2-4 controller setup and friends to play it, but completely useless otherwise.

This game could give you an excellent excuse to break up with your boyfriend/girlfriend.

Good game to just hang out together, chill and enjoy each others company. and then you realise how BAD SHE IS AT FOLLOWING SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS; LIKE COME ON, CUT THE GOD DAMN ONION AND PUT IT IN THE GOD DAMN POT. IT'S NO THAT F***ING HARD. THE PLATES, THE PLATES, WHERE ARE ALL THE CLEAN PLATES?? HURRY THE F UP AND CLEAN THE PLATES INSTEAD OF CUTTING THE CABBAGE. WHY THE F ARE YOU CUTTING A CABBAGE, DO YOU SEE IT ASKING FOR A CABBAGE ANYWHERE???

    News flash!

For us kids who prefer the console experience, it's also on sale on the PSN AU store down from $23.95 to $8.25

Apparently expires tomorrow 11am (AEDT presumably): This price is only available from 22/12/2017 11:00 am to 20/1/2018 10:59 am

Edit: Actually, the Holiday Bundle which Includes the base game and the two DLCs 'The Lost Morsel' and 'The Festive Seasoning' is on sale too at $9.95

    • It'll also let you share a controller since the game only requires 2 buttons and the d-pad for movement (each person take one side). So if you have 2 controllers you can have 4 people playing together which is the best experience for this game IMHO.

    • Played it on switch and loved it. Not knowing that it was also available on ps4. Had to get it! Purchased it off the PS store last week and was stoked at the price for the holiday bundle.

    • oh no, I missed the sale… Is there any other way I can get it for the discounted price. Thanks

  • Yeh! This game was awesome. Any other coop games suggestions that share the same screen and doesn't need internet?
Does anyone remember Peanut Butter Challenge?
(I probably should have posted in forum but it might not get any views.)

I've recently played through Lego Harry Potter with the GF. If you're into the series I definitely recommend it as a super fun couch co-op game. There are other similar Lego games which are also supposed to be great but I haven't tried e.g. Star Wars, Jurassic Park

      • Yeah I play co-op on Lego Marvel Superheroes with my 5 y.o nephew. He loves it and I help him through the tougher puzzles.

Hidden in Plain Sight is a great all vs all or 2v2 game.

      Speedrunners is great fun too.

I learnt something today! "Couch Co-op" (aka. local co-op) is a thing and google is my friend. Thanks Ozbargains and op.

  • does each person need a controller each to play this game?

    • Did some research and looks like this is strongly recommended to be a controller game, so I assume a controller game each.

Am still interested in finding out myself for sure.

    • Its not necessary but highly highly highly recommended. You can control two players with one ps4/xbox controller - one half of the controller each. But imo its not very comfortable.

  • This is good if you use a Living Room Pc or steam link, otherwise dont buy it

  • Sorry new to this. What controllers do people usually get and how do you set it up?
