only when Sundae machine not broke

Feels like one of the COTD flash sales, almost impossible to obtain.

  • +15

That’s all they are worth imo.

    • +1

Yeah $2 isn’t much of a bargain for this. Lol

  • where did you find out the dates of this promotion please? :)

    • He's associated.

    • +3

Yep we can see up coming promos in our system.

      • Awesome - thanks for the intel :) love McFlurrys!

  • +1

Why aren't these available today?????? ITS SO HOT

    • +6

      Mans not hot

    • +6

because all the machines are broken when it's hot… abit like metro trains.

    • very HOT today, even tonight, HOT HOT HOT…

  • Any idea when the promo finishes OP?

    • Couldn't find anywhere that said when it finishes, they usually tell us like a week prior. The last $2 McFlurry promotion was only for 3 weeks.

  • Last time this was on I couldn’t find any restaurants that actually did this deal.

  • +1

they always seem to be cheap the day before they clean the machine out.

  • -1

Same, super limited flavour choice? Their's always a catch with McDonald's deals.

  • +9

What's so mcflurry about it. They don't even mix it anymore. It's a sundae really

  • +7

Even at $2 they are 50c ice cream with 50c worth of M&Ms in a $1 cup. Should be $1 everyday price. For best results get 50c worth of fudge topping and enjoy!

What are you on about? Have you never had a McFlurry? The serving of soft serve in a McFlurry is way more than in a soft serve cone.

  • +5

Still doesn't beat the legendary makeshift McFlurry for $1.40 though ;)

    • Cones aren’t 30 cents anymore :((((, at least now from where I am.

      • +1

Yeah true cones aren't 30 cents anymore :((

    • +1

Holy crab, I’m new to ozbargin but that post has 1700+ upvotes

  • Just wondering if there's a cheaper way of doing this? eg. Ask for a 50c cone in a cup and then ask for M&M's on it? Just wondering…

EDIT: Lol just saw post above by pennypincher98

    Mmmmmmm Mc Slurrys

  • So looking forward to this

  • Can you add syrup in it like how it used to be?

    RIP Caramel Cookie Mcflurry

    • +1

I miss the bubblegum one with the little marshmallows :(

      • +2

ikr! they were the best :*(

  • Excludes M&M ones

    • Are you sure? The promo picture is of M&Ms.

If you are referring to the terms, I believe that is a separate sentence about trademarks.

    • +3

There is a picture of an M&M’S McFlurry on the facebook for the promo. I think you misread the T&C's as there is a full stop after McDelivery.

Available 10:30am - midnight for a limited time. Cannot be used with any other offer. Excludes McDelivery®. M&M’S®, the letter M and the M&M’S characters are trademarks of the Mars group of companies. ©Mars.

Don't mean to be a party pooper but it has 52grams of sugar!!

    1 tsp = 4g

    52/4 = 13 teaspoons of sugar.

Do you really want to be paying $2 to ingest that?

  • i had this in Malaysia last week. Add matcha powder yourself, is really delicious!

I gonna try this method soon quicker thanks to this $2 deal!

    • Just add matcha powder to soft serve in a cup. Would still be cheaper

  • +1

Bring back original McFlurry and I will pay $5 a pop for them

    • +1

As someone who barely eats these, what are the main difference between the old and new?

      • +1

Old ice cream would probably be melted and spoilt. You may get diarrhoea after eating the old one.

      • the old ones use to come with this really large plastic spoon with a hollowed out stem/handle and they'd attach that to the machine and it would aerate the ice cream and mix together the toppings. they still have them in UK McDonald's. The old mcflurry flavours were better too.

Like this. Gross image though https://41dcdfcd4dea0e5aba20-931851ca4d0d7cdafe33022cf8264a3…

Promotion runs for 3 weeks according to my friendly local McDonald's manager.

  • Ended yesterday? Got charged the full price….

    • Definitely hasn't ended, Did you visit between 10:30 am and midnight? Some franchise stores can also choose not to participate in promotions.

      • Yeh I did, well I've bought it for $2 from this store before.

  • Whats with full price after midnight? I only go for late night ice creams.

  • +2

They've just started the creme egg mcflurrys and this deal seems to be expired - price is coming up as $4.30 for all flavours.
