    It's against the airline's Terms & Conditions to sell your points. So no matter how legitimate these brokering sites are, there's the risk that if the airline finds out, you may have your membership terminated and lose everything.

    All transactions can also be easily tracked.

    So you're taking a risk by signing over any points or redeeming tickets for some random person.

    I've personally never used them before, but from the reviews in the airline forums, it seems like there have been successful transactions.
