2nd Gen Xiaomi Vacuum Vs 1st Gen?

So, I want to buy my first robotic vacuum and Xiaomi seems to be a good choice.

I'm going to use it mainly for carpets (70% Carpet 30% tiles), they will be Iranian/Turkish type carpets so will the 1st gen be able to handle it fine?
or is the 2nd gen a lot better with carpets?

Also, with the 2nd gen…there is a mopping feature but I heard it still uses the mop even when it goes on carpet.

DO both of the vacuums have scheduled vacuuming?

Is the 2nd gen worth the extra $150-200?

    2nd gen here, mopping is nothing to special, its basically just a slow leak of water that gets dripped out wherever the vacuum is, there's no control over it.

    AFAIK 2nd generation has an advanced mapping facility, i think you can exclude rooms or change the path. With first generation you need a physical barrier or magnetic strip.
