Last night I was checking my router home page and found the are 15 active ip's at home. Which i never thought I will have. We are family of 3(me, wife and kid).

Once you are connected to ur home wifi to go your router ip address on your browser, since I'm using Telstra router mine is 10.0.0.138
If that address doesn’t work, try 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
The router IP address is usually on the sticker on back/bottom of the router…

18 to 20, depends on what is on. Same size family, two adults and one child…
Phones, iPads, security system/cameras, games consoles, smart tv, chromecasts, google home, doorbell, pc’s, NAS, voip phone, printer… it’s not hard to amass more than 10…
More IP addresses at home now than when I looked after a small business computer network many years ago.
The normal things computers, phones and tablets. Also, streaming boxes, TV's, thermostats, doorbell, solar system, games consoles, printers and light switches. The VOIP phone is plugged directly into the router and doesn't have an IP address.

mine is shocking… i reserve the dhcp scope to 192.168.0.100 and above
everything below that is infrastructure and servers
above 100 is all the crap that changes and its into the 30-40s devices…

plus smart tvs and such… i'm a network eng. by trade so
