Hi all,

Are there any light in the box reps on this site able to help me out?
Looking to purchase this laptop:

Since the pricing is so close to that $1000AUD mark and it seems like shipping costs are included, are we able to get the machine price and shipping costs split up?
So that machine pricing falls under $1000AUD this way we can avoid the import GST taxes?

Any help would be much appreciated!

  If you change the currency to USD it comes to $771.86 which is $980.56 AUD. This is less than $1000

    what exchange rate did you use? because if you actually use a current exchange rate (1usd = 0.7433aud as of 11/1) it will come to approximately $1038.42aud which is close to the aud price on the site

    But do keep us posted on this as i am also keen to pick one up.

    Also, a lot of people have stated that shipping price is part of the gst if the actual item is above $1000. If the item is not above $1000, they won't include shipping prices. Could be wrong but this is what a lot of people have said on ozbargain

      XE.com. Use an international conversion free card like Citibank, Bankwest, Coles, ect.

  If you checkout in USD it equals 1,021AUD according to the PayPal conversion rate
