That's a pretty poor deal offered by maccas seeing post mix is so cheap.
Cost and worth are two different things
Of course I know that but still a dollar for a drink is not a really great deal.
Better than the usual $3.whatever for a large.
I'd buy a coke every day for that price!
They do frozen this cheap, why the hell can't they do it for ordinary drinks!
Frozen coke is mostly gas, if you let it melt its like 1/3rd of the cup, thats why its cheaper
And about 20 spoons of sugar.
Hopefully with the sugar tax they get the pre mixes too

they don’t have lo-cal frozen drinks e.g diet coke frozen, so frozen not an option unless you want the full sugar dose.
heck people pay more than $1 for a bottle of water for some reason, though they could just go to maccas and get a cup of water for free.
junior schools promote water as the preferred drink with meals, and our regard for “ tap water should be free” also makes it a great alternative to soft drinks , but outside of school parents take the default meal with soft drink and send mixed messages to their kids.
“ 2 Mc Doubles and a cup of water please” cheap meal all the time.
i remember gatorade providing their product for free at junior cricket to recruit future consumers ….. junior cricket doesn’t work up that’s much of a sweat.
yeah sugar tax and calories of a meal ….. if they quoted the calorie of meal with sugar free alternative as the default eg coke zero, it would actually make their meals look less fattening ……
sugar tax ….. just make the sugar free drink the default unless customers ask for the full sugar version.
If you think about what sugar does to your brain (dopamine) you'll see why fast food companies prefer you drink soft drink.

Thanks for posting the deal, sorry I should have been more clearer.
I placed the order through the app which showed the order at $6.65.
Once I arrived in drive thru the crew person recalled my stored order through the drive thru register.
I was then charged $9.30 to the stored credit card in the app and I was promptly emailed the invoice which showed me $9.30 as well.
Not to worry, complaint has been lodged.
