Motherboard Intel Asus Z370-E ($243) + Corsair MP500 M.2 120GB ($103) + Delivery (AUD $42 for Both) - AUD $388 Total @ Newegg

50

I was checking on Newegg and found an Asus Z370-E shipping from USA (last week it was shipping from AUS for 343)

Delivery fee is a bit high but if combined with the Corsair Force MP500 M.2 2280 120GB it is a good deal

You can actually get some decent deals from newegg au. I recently got 2x8GB of 3200mhz G.Skill DDR4 RAM for ~$250 delivered, where the nearest available in aus was ~$300. Funnily enough I bought this last, and the rest of the parts a couple days earlier from eBay's tech sale, and the thing coming all the way from the USA arrived first -.- fkn auspost

    • Yep, I bought a Corsair DDR4 3466 for AUD280. Just wondering if you receive it fast (FeDex or DHL)? I bought a bunch of components at the end of December and did not receive it yet.

FedEx. Ordered on the Saturday 30/12/2017, received in Perth on Wednesday 03/01/2018. I did select the express option as it was only 5 cents more :P

        • Mate DHL is rubbish, my components still in USA. FedEx deliveries are much faster

        • @pdr nego: RIP. Also, see my comment below :)

        • @JimmyLmao:
The normal shipping for my postcode was 65 bucks when the World EggSaver Express was around 180 hueuheueuh

        • @pdr nego: Damn, I would have gone with normal too! Haha :P

For a lot of the stuff I've tried adding to my cart the difference has always appeared to be a matter of cents

mine took a month…same 3200Mhz RGB RAM. Was cheap but took forever.

      • Oh wow, I would not be happy at all if that were the case. Which shipping option did you select?

I notice there's a few different options depending on the product you select. I chose World EggSaver Express (2-3 Business Days), which ended up being FedEx and was very quick - but maybe I got lucky… It was also a small item (RAM).

FYI ASUS Australia will not provide warranty or service to boards purchased from outside Australia.

    • Yeah, i bought my motherboard here and got the ram from Newegg. Seemed reasonable, given the lifetime warranty on the ram.

I think newegg shipping is absolute crap.

Buy 1 call it $45 - buy 2 double it. virtually same for everything. Shipping 2 is rarely double the cost - its a scam.

Their international shipping is overpricked and largely they are an absolute waste of time.

    • bad egg experience?

        • their customer- call that 'foreign dog' service is shite too.

Their $525 3DS XL and $927 Xbox One X is enough reason for me to ignore them…

Sometimes change the order you add items in your cart, it saved me 40 bucks last time

They use airfreight w/ FedEx. It costs a lot, but it takes about 2 days shipping once it leaves the warehouse and has excellent tracking, delivery-to-door, and re-delivery service. In fact, I don't think I've had such high quality shipping from anyone else—it's faster than half of the domestic retailers. So yea, it's expensive, but at least it's offering quality.

If you want cheaper shipping on international purchases, try Amazon or BHPhotovideo.

      • I want a choice, and Newegg with just 1 really expensive shipping charge doesn't belong here.
