That's pretty crude
Usually the bigger the crude, the bigger the fat.
The chicken meal and kelp meal is good but there's wheat and chicken gravy (aka by-products) in there which is a bit iffy.
Overall good for a supermarket brand though.

In all seriousness how does this brand compare to other kibbles on the market (Hills Science, Black hawk, etc). Is it actually a high quality/premium product?
(that being said I don't remember the last time my dog was willing to eat kibble)

Arguably better than hills science diet (I actually like my dog so I would never feed this)
Not as good as black hawk (the new working dog formulas is one of the best as far as kibble goes)I used to feed black hawk from vet's recommendation but my pom has become very picky :(
Protein and fat content is low
I agree with everything that you said but the protein content is actually fairly high (and the fat content is fine).
Raw meat is only about 25% protein, and even the highest quality kibble is 32-36%.
And for dogs with a sensitive stomach a high protein food can cause issues.
Lastly, 28% protein is not an indication of quality, things like wheat used as a filler is.
