    Thanks. Switch deals…

    Zelda – $72.35 delivered
Pokken Tournament DX – $68.39 delivered
    Skyrim – $62.18 delivered
    Splatoon 2 – $62.18 delivered
    Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – $60.30 delivered
    Arms – $58.76 delivered
Super Mario Odyssey – $58.49 delivered

I think these prices are all the best available atm from the usual retailers.

    • +2

These also seem to be the cheapest around as well:

      Snipperclips Plus – $32.48
      Rayman Legends – $32.39
      End is Nigh – $35.99*

*cheaper on the eShop for digital release

      (prices not including cashrewards)

      • Just remember there's a $2 shipping fee if you spend under $50

    • +2

Awesome! All I need is a deal on a Nintendo Switch. Missed the boat before Christmas when places had them < $400

    • +1

That's pretty decent, if only they would hurry up and get Mario Kart back in stock, its been a week and it's still not back

  • +1

    Don't forget cashrewards :)

  • -3

Op include some examples of discounted items in description please.

  • Are ozgameshop generally reliable? I think I read somewhere else that shipping times can be quite long?

    • +16

Shipping can take up to a week as it ships from the UK. Otherwise I've had a good experience shopping with them, the games come nice and sealed in plastic.

      • +6

It’s always taken about 2 weeks to get to me in Sydney. Not a negative, it’s to be expected.

They are great. Always well packed and Player Points are a nice bonus.

        • Thanks for the helpful comments! Much appreciated.

        • +6

          Player points are useless!

        • +1

@wtfnodeal: Not as useless as some other points, I have used about $30 from player points.

        • +4

@justmiike: they apply min spend on player points which is at best 10% or less and can't be used with another discount code so might as well wait for a discount code.

        • -1

          @wtfnodeal:

I got Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for $55 shipped with $10 worth of player points. That’s a pretty good deal.

It was originally $65 so that’s about 15% off.

        • +1

@wtfnodeal: It's actually around 20% or just under that for all PlayerPoint vouchers.
I used a $15 point voucher on an Xbone controller at Christmas and got $16.60 back in points because of a PlayerPoint deal they had going. It's pretty worth it, especially when you consider that they already beat most places on price.

        • @juiciness:

How did you go buying DLC for it from AU store?

        • @justtoreply:

          I don't buy DLC.

        • @wtfnodeal: The frustrating thing with player points is that they USED to be so much better, and represent much better value, but they enforced these bullshit minimum spend conditions a few years ago, rendering the points and subsequent coupons effectively worthless.

        • @justtoreply:
The "Australian" version of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (as with several other Switch games, including FE Warriors and Super Mario Odyssey) is literally the European version of the game card boxed with a slightly different cover jacket.

The game card itself even has a PEGI 12 sticker on it, with game code LA-H-ADENB-EUR.

    • Ordered twice and both took almost 2 weeks to arrive. Well packed.

  • +1

Good, reliable UK based store. About two weeks for delivery.

  • +1

Thanks OP, got ARMS for my nephew's bday

    • +2

I read it as you got arms for your nephews BABY

  • +3

These guys are really horrible with warranty returns and you won't get local warranty on any items. After ages spent fighting with them they will make you ship the item back to them in the UK at your own cost. I won't be shopping with them again.

    • +4

to ship back at your own cost is a given with international retailer.
When returning an item back to brick-and-mortar store do you ask them to reimburse you for gas or public transport?

    • +5

Always pay with Paypal, they will reimburse return shipping costs up to $45, 8 times per year.
I always pay Paypal where possible to cover myself in case I need to return international orders.

When are switch games gonna come down.

Haven't seen many around the $20 sweet spot yet.

    • +3

The only time that happened for the Wii U was when it was dead.

No first party or decent game will for the Switch, unless it's shovel-ware or budget price.

  • -1

Called Ozgameshop, but based in the UK. Is the owner named Oz? Kinda misleading…

    • +7

When it started it was targeting Australian buyers with grey imports that were far cheaper than JB/EB/Target etc. The price discrepancy has narrowed quite a bit since then, and they aren't as good value as they once were, but the name and company are still around.

      • +1

^this - yeah was good…unfortunately its never going to reach its former glory.

        • Unless the dollar crashes against the pound/euro. Back when it was the best place to source games, the exchange rate with the UK was fairly different.

  • damn.. still too pricey for binding of isaac Switch :(

  • They also have Windows 10 Pro OEM license keys for $89.99 + 10% off

Has anyone purchased hardware equipments from them before ? I intend to get a usb dock and since it’s a UK company i’m not sure about returns/ warranty and most importantly if they provide the ozzie compatible ac plug.

  • -2

    Sitewide (not sidewide)

  • Is this compatible with player points for extra discounts?

  • Just ordered after the expiry time…. When does this actually end?

    • Sorry should be 3 hours from now at 11:59pm AWST. I had it as AEST initially.

      • how come it's based on AWST?

        • No idea, just what it said in the email.
